why get an Inspection

Why get a home inspection?

Well, getting a home inspection is a crucial step for anyone considering buying or selling a home. Furthermore, a home inspection from us provides invaluable insights into the overall condition of a home.

Why a seller should get a home inspection?

Now, let’s explore why sellers should get a home inspection. Firstly, a pre-listing inspection can identify and address any potential issues or defects in the property before it goes on the market. This proactive approach allows sellers to make necessary repairs or improvements. Consequently, this can enhance the property’s marketability and potentially lead to a higher sale price.

Moreover, it can expedite the selling process by reducing the likelihood of post-offer negotiations or deals falling through due to unexpected issues. Overall, a seller’s home inspection can be a strategic move to streamline the selling process, increase the property’s appeal, and potentially yield a smoother and more profitable transaction.

In short, a home inspection offers peace of mind and serves as a wise investment in one of the largest transactions of your life. In summary, it’s a decision that can benefit both buyers and sellers alike.

The Inspection

Our home inspections not only report on the major deficiencies but also include maintenance advice and general knowledge of the workings of the home. In addition, it’s always good to know where the water shut-off valve is, or the age and condition of the HVAC and other mechanical system components.

Furthermore, all inspections are based on the InterNACHI (International Association of Home Inspectors) Standards of Practice. However, at Healymonster, we pride ourselves in going above and beyond the “standards.”

When visible and accessible, we inspect all of the following systems and components of the home, inside and out, from top to bottom. These include the following:

  • Roof
  • Foundation
  • Basement / Crawlspace
  • Structural Components
  • Attic, Ventilation & Insulation
  • Porch & Deck
  • Garage & Driveway
  • Electrical System
  • Plumbing System
  • HVAC System
  • Built-In Appliances
  • Ceilings, Floors & Walls
  • Windows
  • Doors
  • Sprinkler System

Additional Services

Due to possible damage tile roofs are never walked on.

Asphalt roofs are walked on when it is safe to do so.
