Healymonster Home Inspections
My name is Brian Healy, I am the owner of Healymonster Home Inspections, a family and veteran-owned business.
I have been inspecting homes since 2015 and have over 1000 hours of home inspection-related schooling and have performed over 800 inspections. I am also a Certified Master Inspector.
I started my home inspection career in Nevada where I was required to complete a home inspector course of study and to pass state and national exams to receive my license. I completed my hands-on training and worked under a Certified Master Inspector (CMI). I then left Nevada and moved to Texas.
Upon arriving in Texas, I learned I would be required to complete a Texas specific home inspector course of study and pass a state exam to receive my home inspector license for the state of Texas. After doing so I then completed another hands-on training period under another Certified Master Inspector (CMI) and was immediately brought on as a contract employee and performed inspections over the next year before forming my own company.
Both Nevada and Texas are states that are highly regulated and require licensing for home inspectors. Between that training and my Army career I learned to pay attention to details and to do it right the first time. I have carried that philosophy along with my experiences and education throughout my home inspection career.
I conduct inspections on existing homes as well as new construction in both Washington and Iron Counties in Utah (I have also been known to travel to Kane county on occasion).
I provide your inspection report the same day as the inspection enabling you to make an informed decision in a timely manner. My inspections provide a technology-based report including full color and thermal images along with video. I also offer Radon testing with results in two days.
I retired from the Army in 2001. My wife and I originally moved to St. George, Utah back in 2005. Then, after being here for 10 years we had to move away for a few years. We are now back home and are very excited to be back in the area. As an engaged member of the community, I participated in the Marathon, and the Ironman races here, and I am also a Leadership Dixie 2011-2012 graduate.
I invite you to check out my over 180 five-star reviews on google. I can also be found on Angies List, Yelp and Home Advisor.
